Our first ever episode has arrived! What better way to start off than by reviewing the classic pilot episode Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire? 

When Homer doesn’t receive his Christmas bonus, along with Marge needing to spend the family’s savings jar on getting Bart’s tattoo removed, it’s up to him to get a second job as a mall Santa in order to “save Christmas” for the Simpson family.

There are certain sense of nostalgia that pumps through my veins whenever I watch this episode, which has no become an annual Christmas tradition for my family. It’s gritty, it’s raw, it’s beautiful.
